1、Avatar re-releases in China
'阿凡达'国内重映票房破亿
Blockbuster movie Avatar has retaken the highest-grossing film of all time spot thanks to its re-release in China.
卖座大片《阿凡达》在中国重新上映后，近日又重夺全球票房冠军宝座。
The sci-fi epic debuted in 2009 and held the global box office title for a decade until it was overtaken by Marvel's Avengers: Endgame in 2019.
这部科幻史诗大片于2009年首映，占据全球票房冠军宝座长达十年，直到2019年被漫威的《复仇者联盟4：终局之战》赶超。
Following its re-release in the world's biggest movie-watching market of China, worldwide total sales pushed it above the $2.8billion mark on the weekend.
《阿凡达》在中国这个全球最大的观影市场重映后，上周末该片的全球票房突破了28亿美元。
Director James Cameron's Avatar took in about $4m on Friday alone which pushed it ahead of Endgame, according to distributor Walt Disney.

A German farm is offering people who are feeling deprived of human contact due to coronavirus restrictions an unusual alternative: the opportunity to cuddle a sheep.
德国一个农场为那些因新冠病毒限制措施导致无法与人接触的人提供了一个不同寻常的选择：拥抱绵羊的机会。
We have marvelous sheep here who like it very much if they get visitors, said Lexa Voss, who runs an educational program on a farm near Hattingen in western Germany to encourage people to get closer to animals. I allow people to visit the sheep unattended, and have a wonderful time with them in nature and far away from any masks and social distancing.

3、Biden's gender council

US President Joe Biden has created a White House council to push for more women's rights, while overseeing the government's commitment to gender equity and equality.
美国总统拜登日前批准成立白宫性别政策委员会，着重促进妇女权利，同时监督政府对性别公平、两性平等的承诺兑现情况。
The Gender Policy Council will work with all cabinet secretaries and submit an annual report to the president to measure progress on prioritizing gender equality across government.

It is a reformed version of the White House Council on Women and Girls set up under former president Barack Obama and later disbanded by Donald Trump's administration.

Biden has said that he wants gender equality to be front and center of his new administration's policies.

国际森林日
World Forest Day
1、深圳
深圳不同行业的志愿者，用潜入海底清理海洋垃圾、扶植珊瑚的行动助阵“世界森林日”。志愿者小队的成员换上潜水装备后，潜入海底清理垃圾，并收集珊瑚残肢固定在特定区域的苗圃上。
Volunteers from different industries in Shenzhen participated in the World Forest Day by diving into the sea to clean up Marine garbage and support coral. Squads of volunteers put on diving gear and dive to the sea floor to clean up debris and collect coral fragments to fix to nursery beds in specific areas.
2、芜湖
自国家森林城市创建工作启动以来，芜湖市已通过新闻媒体、社会活动等多种渠道进行“创森”宣传，营造了浓厚的创建氛围，提高了广大市民对“创森”的知晓率、支持率。前来参加活动的市民纷纷在宣传背景墙上签下名字，他们表示，要自觉履行义务植树义务，踊跃参加各种形式的造林绿化活动。
