1、中国超算数量世界第一
China continues to dominate a list of the world's fastest supercomputers by the number of systems, according to a semi-annual ranking of the Top500 published Monday.
每半年发布一次的全球最快超级计算机500强榜单17日出炉，在上榜超算数量方面，中国继续蝉联第一。
China tops the supercomputer list with 219 systems, followed by the US with 116, and Japan ranks third with 29 systems, according to the ranking.
榜单显示，中国有219台超算上榜，数量最多，其次是美国(116台)和日本(29台)。
The top of the list remained largely unchanged. Two US-built supercomputers Summit and Sierra retain the first two positions.
榜单前几名几乎没有变化，美国的Summit和Sierra依然稳居冠亚军宝座。
The Summit delivered a record of 148.6 petaflops on the High Performance Linpack (HPL) test, while the Sierra system remains unchanged at 94.6 petaflops.

2、格陵兰岛日融20亿吨冰
Over 40% of Greenland experienced melting Thursday, with total ice loss estimated to be more than 2 billion tons on just that day alone.
13日，格陵兰岛超过40%的地区经历了冰雪融化，据估计，该岛当天损失了超过20亿吨的冰量。
While Greenland is a big island filled with lots of ice, it is highly unusual for that much ice to be lost in the middle of June. The average melt season for Greenland runs from June to August, with the bulk of the melting occurring in July.

【Words Trick】

“l'm busy”这种话听起来就很假，听上去是别的事情比你重要，我不想和你一起的感觉。而且学了那么多年英语，只会一句l'm busy就说不过去了。今天就和大家讲讲该怎么地道地表达“我真的很忙！”
1.in the middle of sth
in the middle of something是一个非常地道的美式口语表达。
字面意思看是在...中间，当你忙着做事的时候，不正好是夹在这件事情的中间吗？in the middle of后面可以加sth或doing sth。
有时候 in the middle of是一个很实用的客套话，能帮你推掉一些无聊的社交邀约。而且用这个说法和美国人对话，就显得你的英语自然地道了。
例句：
I am in the middle ofanswering emails. Wait a moment, please.
我忙着回邮件，请等会。
2.all wound up
大家听到wound可能觉得很陌生，其实这是一个非常常用的单词wind的过去分词。wind名词是风，作为动词有上发条的意思。
wind up就是上紧发条，这里的all形容发条已经完全上紧的状态。all wound up就引申出很忙的意思啦。
例句：
You won't fall asleep if you're all wound up from answering email , or doing otherwork.
如果你在睡觉前还在忙着回复邮件或者做其它事情，那你肯定睡不着。
3.be tied up
tie是系、绑、打结的意思，tie up意思就是捆起来、绑起来。
be tied up就引申为被占用的、脱不了身的、忙得不可开交的。后面可以加介词with，be tied up with sth。
关于tied，类似的表达还有My hands are tied，手被绑起来不是说干不了活，这个短语也表示“超级忙”。当然还可以表示力不能及、无能为力的意思。
例句：
She was tied up in a meeting all morning. The phone was tied up for an hour.
这会儿她很忙，不能见你；电话被占用了差不多一个小时了。
Sorry, my hands are tied. You can ask John for help. He's free.
对不起，我很忙，帮不了你，你可以找约翰帮忙，他有空。
4.have/get one’s hands full
大家忙起来的时候是不是左右开弓，两只手都没闲着呢！所以have/get one's hands full意思就是很忙。
例句：
I'm afraid not. I'llhave my hands fulltrying to finish my research paper.
恐怕不行。我忙着完成我的研究论文。
5.a race against time
都开始和时间赛跑了，还能不忙吗？
例句：
An air force spokesman said the rescue operation wasa race against time.
